An Interview with Rising Music Artist Jimmy Climbs

Jimmy Climbs was born and raised in San Diego, California, where he took a liking to the world of entertainment and outdoor activity. Jimmy’s earliest experience with music was at church, where he recalls, “the moment where everyone in church started singing was the only time that I felt alive and invested… otherwise, I’d just fall asleep when we weren’t singing.” This interest in music was further cultivated at a young age in theatre, where Jimmy Climbs got his taste of performing live via lead roles such as Conrad Birdie in the classic, “Bye Bye Birdie.” It was also there that his adrenaline was fueled via frequent visits to Sunset Cliffs, a local cliff jumping spot. These formative years also birthed his interest in climbing, where he could be could be seen scaling trees while at daycare. It wasn’t until his college years that he legitimatized this passion…
