Magic Sugar Coffee Release “Blkout”
Switzerland’s Magic Sugar Coffee unleash their new single, “Blkout.” The duo, composed of Mathew Newsam and Nick Axel Kauffman, enlisted Joshua Howlett for the song. The song was produced by the band and mixed by the band’s very own Nick Axel Kauffman at Relief Studios. The track is heavily influenced by the 2000s Pop-Punk era. Magic Sugar Coffee take you on a nostalgic journey from start to finish with “Blkout.” “Pop-Punk is back on the charts, so here’s our contribution to the scene and everything it’s done for us.” Magic Sugar Coffee continue, “It feels like our childhood is back, and it’s amazing to be apart of it this time around.”
“Blkout” really captures that throwback sound that will remind listeners of a simpler time. Magic Sugar Coffee’s “Blkout” is reminiscent of the discography from bands such as Alien Ant Farm, Blink-182, and Fountains of Wayne. From the intro to the breakdown to the outro, the record is an edgy, up-tempo jam that reels listeners in and doesn't let go. “Blkout” is a song that needs to be performed at Vans Warped Tour when the tour’s hiatus is up. Until then, grab your speakers or headphones and put the soon-to-be headliners Magic Sugar Coffee’s “Blkout” on repeat.
