Meet British Music Artist Caldo

With his single and music video, “From The Vein,” out now, we took some time to hear more from Caldo. Read below to learn more about Caldo, the story behind his single, and what’s to come.

Hi Caldo! Let’s start with how did you get your artist name?

I remember after a studio session on a Friday, my management and I were at McDonald’s brainstorming names, and I came up with ‘Caldo,’ which means “hot” in Italian. It just kind of stuck.

What city are you from and where are you based now?

I grew up in Pimlico in central London, but I moved a couple years ago to where I’m currently at, South London.

At what point in your life did you decide to pursue a career in music? How did you get started?

I’ve always liked writing lyrics. During primary school days, I used to jot down ideas that I thought of randomly in my school books, and then I would go home to try expand on them.
