Los Angeles, CA (Medium) 05/11/2023 — It’s not often that a quarantine passion project, born out of frustration and solitude, can blossom into an international sensation. However, through her breakthrough with “Close to Overdose,” Penner is well on her way towards following this unique path to stardom. “Close to Overdose” precedes Penner’s debut EP, “When We Fall Apart,” which also includes her earlier single, “Wish I Could Float Away.” The rising singer-songwriter and producer brings her distinct perspective, as well as a fearless reliance on her instincts, to create masterpieces that are the first of their kind.
