With his EP, “B1,” out now, we took some time to hear more from Tommy B. Read below to learn more about Tommy B, the story behind his debut EP, and what’s to come.

Hi Tommy B! Let’s start with how did you get your artist name?

I used to frequent a small bar called the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Because of my origin and accent, they called me “Tommy Boston” there. Every time they printed my receipt for the night, part of the name would be cut off, leaving only “Tommy B” left. So, when I started performing locally, I figured that I’d go with that!

What city are you from and where are you based now?

I’m from the small town of Dighton, Massachusetts. I’m currently based in Central Pennsylvania.
